Karczma Biały Miś (The White Bear Inn) is a new restaurant on the map of Zakopane Poland, located in the heart of Krupówki. It specializes in regional and Polish cuisine, prepared the highlander way. It’s a real Podhale feast!.
Karczma Biały Miś (The White Bear Inn) has its name for a reason - in honor of its patron, the White Bear, who is one of the oldest and best-known characters from Zakopane. The white bear was spotted on Krupówki for the first time at the beginning of 1922, over 100 years ago. Sometimes he wandered to the Ski Jumping Hill, sometimes to Gubałówka, but he always returned to the heart of Zakopane to invite visitors and residents of the city to take photos together.
